Hot Cross Bun
Ice Cream Sandwiches
  • Description:

    A delicious Easter dessert that takes no time at all to make! Chocolate, ice cream and hot cross buns are ALWAYS a good idea!

  • Ingredients:

    6 Hot Cross Buns

    6 scoops of blueberry ice cream

    180 g Chocolate Slab

  • Method:

    1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
    2. Halve the hot cross buns horizontally and toast under the hot grill, cut side up for 2 minutes or until golden.
    3. Place a scoop of ice cream onto the base of each bun.
    4. Top with the remaining hot cross bun halves and squash down gently.
    5. Melt the slab of chocolate and drizzle over the hot cross bun sandwich.
    6. Serve and eat before the ice cream melts.

    Makes: 6 hot cross bun ice cream sandwiches.
